313 Connection is a new party at La Cheetah Club in Glasgow, founded by DJs Undercurrent and Kairogen. The idea was born out of a shared passion for Detroit’s rich musical history and its influence on Glasgow’s electronic scene. From its earliest days, La Cheetah has reflected this connection, with legendary figures like DJ Stingray, and events like the recent Jeff Mills 15-year anniversary. This night aims to honour that legacy while creating space for a fresh community to grow. Rooted in the sounds of house, techno and electro, 313 connection seeks to celebrate the music that shaped these genres whilst embracing new audiences and ideas. Through careful curation and a focus on storytelling, we’ll use this platform to credit the pioneers, share insights, and inspire a deeper understanding of the music without gatekeeping.
