Another year in the basement is being seen out with a 2 floor hogmanay bash that’ll move us out of our 14th year nicely and bring in our 15th year with all the fanfare you’ll have come to expect from us by now. As always we’d like to thank the staff, promoters, artists, dancers and anyone else who has supported us in anyway these past 12 months! None of it happens with out you lot. Without further ado we present to you the crew that’ll be seeing out 23 and taking you into 24… We’re delighted to be hosting DjRUM in the club for the first time. Our good pal and one of Detroit’s most influential figures, Detroit In Effect will be back in the building. Resident of 10 years and Glasgow’s favourite rave merchant, Nightwave, plays her first NYE in the club. LoveCycle boss and Subculuture resident, Stevie Cox, will be on deck with the realness on the night as well. We’re not stopping there as we’ll have Concrete Cabin head honcho / Rubadub record slinger, Mother holding it down. Club resident Natalie will be bringing the ENVY heat on the night and last but by no means least… Our longest serving residents and in-house Outer Zoners, Wardy & Dom D’Sylva will be on hand to keep the rest of this squad in line on the night. Last year we went with a simple one floor La Cheetah affair but NYE has historically been a night when we’ve went all out so La Cheetah will take over Max’s for one night only. We’ll have a hefty Funktion-One set up in place to rival the sound in the club space. We will also have a cutting edge production installed upstairs, making the space a whole different world from what you are used to. That’s about all you need to know for now folks.
