313 Connection returns on Thursday 13th March at La Cheetah Club for a 313 Day special! A night dedicated to Detroit techno, house, and electro, 313 Connection is about celebrating the sound that shaped the underground, from its origins to its global influence. Our first event was a near sell-out, and the energy in the room proved just how strong the connection to Detroit still is. We’re excited to welcome Domenic Cappello, a key figure in the Detroit-Glasgow connection. As a resident at Glasgow’s Sub Club since 1994, Domenic has shared the decks with Detroit legends like Carl Craig and Octave One. Through his label, 7th Sign Recordings, he has released music from Detroit artists such as Marcellus Pittman and Keith Tucker of Aux 88. His deep knowledge of Detroit’s musical landscape makes him the perfect guest for this special night. Joining him are residents Undercurrent and Kairogen, playing their first B2B set. Expect a mix of digital and vinyl, deep cuts and classics, tracing Detroit’s influence across house and techno. La Cheetah has always been rooted in the Detroit sound, and we want to keep that spirit alive – bringing it to a new audience while keeping it a space for those who truly love the music. To keep the focus on the music and the dancefloor, 313 Connection will be a no-phone-camera night. We want people to feel comfortable to express themselves with no distractions, just a proper club atmosphere. Tickets are now available, with another allocation of free tickets up for grabs.
