The people’s favourite mid-week dive into rare dancefloor gems returns after a packed out start to our 2019 programme! Without a doubt our favourite run of parties where we invite our favourite crate digging selectors to show off their finest obscure finds. We’re proud to welcome Edinburgh party starters Miss World to the La Cheetah booth for the 4th instalment!

It’s been a strong run of form for head honchos and residents Julia and Emily since they launched back in 2015. Having welcomed past guests such as Peach (A//P firm favourite), NikNak, FRANk, Nina Las Vegas, Frankie Elyse, Jess Cohen and Kate Harahan to the capital’s infamous Sneaky Pete’s, Miss World have been an important voice in pushing female and queer talent to the forefront of the dance music scene in Scotland. We noticed their eye for killer disco, italo and nu-wave flecked house and techno records through their ever-popular twice monthly EHFM show ‘Miss World On The Rocks’, which features a selection of their own tunes as well as those from guests and up and coming female DJs. They’ve also bagged slots at the renowned Electric fields and Terminal V festivals.

The gifted pair’s taste fit perfectly with our vision for the Selectors Series and we had to get them over for a set. Residents Keyden and Findlay Stephen will be showing off their recent scalps from the bins of Glasgow’s finest record stores.
