We’re humbled to be given the opportunity to have our first Saturday night takeover in the mighty La Cheetah basment. To mark the occasion we’re inviting over French DJ & Producer Luca Ruiz and Glasgow native Gourlay to share the booth with resident Lewis Doherty. Luca Ruiz who is a veteran of the French electronic scene, brought house music from Paris to the South of France and is in a main player running festivals, parties and labels such as Magie Noire, Lost in Carmague and Dernier Cri to name a few. His style is characterised by a groovy, gritty, hypnotic and timeless house sound influenced by the warehouses of Chicago and the avant-garde of Detroit. He has played for top players in world known clubs such as Rex Club, Tresor, Sonar Barcelona and at Brunch Electronik, showcasing his eclectic sound to clubbers across continents all over the world. Bringing a variety names to his parties booking anyone from Margaret Dygas, Dan Ghenacia and Dyed Soundorom to the upper echelons of techno legend, Jeff Mills and DVS1. Luca is also a producer and has released on BienAimer and this year will be a key year as he releases his first ever solo EP! Gourlay is a seasoned electro and techno DJ and producer, making a significant impact on the global music scene. He has already carved out a reputation as a formidable talent, known for his dynamic and powerful performances that captivate audiences worldwide. Internationally, Gourlay’s performances have taken him to esteemed venues across Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Mexico, Argentina, Netherlands, France, Italy, and Romania. Notable clubs include Sub Club, Karlstorbahnhoff, Fabric, LDN East 16 Stage & Radio, Zodiac Brussels, and Mia Beach Club in Tulum.
