Friday’s Clank sees resident Boosterhooch joined by another two of Glasgow’s finest DJs. AKUMU is the mind behind the Red Museum night, where she consistently hosts some of the most pioneering names in dance music; such as M.E.S.H., Proc Fiskal, and Ytem. As a DJ she draws inspiration from video game soundtracks and harder club sounds, and for her headline La Cheetah debut she’ll be dishing up some heavy hitters. Nat Earthsine is a Clyde Built resident with show Love you forever and always, and runs cassette label listen2. His own releases navigate reverby and ethereal territories and he’ll be warming us all up. Joining the dots between them both is Clank resident Boosterhooch , fresh off covering Jon K’s NTS show last month with her usual mix of chuggy experimental sounds and punchy dance music, and performing her own noisy live set for the closing party of Katie Shannon’s Celine Gallery exhibition.
