w/ Maveen Tekhole Ewan Partial Sloan
For the last Lezure of the year we welcome a list of legendary locals to lay down a plethora of large beats in the La Cheetah booth. Joining us for the first time are 3 good pals: Shakara and Kin-Tu bossman Maveen, exciting up and comer Tekhole and no introduction needed Ewan Partial. Maveen – A Ugandan-born DJ and curator based in Glasgow, has become a central figure in the city’s nightlife scene. Arriving in Scotland as refugee at a young age, MAVEEN’s musical journey started in his bedroom, where he began experimenting with beats and mixes. Tekhole – Currently causing a storm across the Glasgow and Edinburgh club scenes and airwaves, Tekhole’s high-energy soundscapes blend percussive styles such as Hard Drum, UK Funky, Gqom with trippy techno, electro and breaks. Expect fierce drums, moody basslines and psychedelic electro interludes. Ewan Partial – 50% of the brains behind one of Glasgow’s most revered and now sadly past parties, Partial, Ewan has been a favourite DJ of the Lezure kids for the last 10 years. Frequently delivery sets better than some of our more esteemed guests this kid has got ‘it’ frequently demonstrated on radio across the land including NTS, Refugee Worldwide and Clydebuilt closer to home. Regular supporting cast from curator and invigilator Sloan of Lezure. Extended 4am license. Random b2bs 2 b expected.
