w/ Hu-Sane ELANDA Mica
Temperature is dropping ,leaves are falling and days are getting shorter which means the seasons are changing. As we head into the season of hibernation and incubation, we kindly invite Mica, Hu-sane and ELANDA to gently guide you into Autumn with some fire sets! Co-founder of Absolutely Flawless Sound System, Mica is a dj and producer playing cutting edge queer club. Expect infectious rhythms, deep bass and hot diva vocals. Hu-Sane is a genre-defying DJ/Producer with nearly two decades of experience. Hu-Sane came into the spotlight five years ago in Glasgow, fueled by her love of UK Bhangra and Bass music, with a mission to bring South Asian music to Glasgow’s scene. Hu-Sane plays unapologetically aggressive sets injecting South Asian sounds into the gritty beats of Bass/Breaks/UKG. Besides hosting radio shows across Glasgow and Newcastle, her productions have featured on BBC Radio One. This September sees the brainchild of Hu-Sane, Haram Haram/Forbidden Noble Woman debut its launch party at Sub Club, celebrating the electronic music of the South Asian and SWANA diasporic sounds in Glasgow. ELANDA is a Zimbabwean DJ and producer based in Birmingham, known for her hypnotic, percussion-driven sound. After gaining recognition in Scotland’s music scene, she’s now a bi-monthly resident at Glasgow’s La Cheetah Club for “STFU!” and has been featured on BBC Radio One. In 2024, she released her debut track “Glasgow Stint” with Redstone Press and the track “Bunda Bop” featuring Mod-R. ELANDA has played alongside top acts like DJ Lag and Eliza Rose. Her style blends afro-tech, global bass, dubstep, and more, delivering an eclectic and dynamic dance floor experience.
